Prior to attending architecture school in Cambridge he worked in the Pacific Northwest building custom houses, welding furniture and building boats for 5 years.  He returned east and graduated from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design in 1999.  Prior to founding BFA, Zeke Brown practiced in numerous firms in the Boston area, including The Office of Peter Rose, Leers Weinzapfel Associates, and Kyu Sung Woo Architect Inc.
